Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and message, along with anything optional you add: company, phone number, project type, and budget range. Please don't send sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, health information, or passwords through the form.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our servers keep a basic log of each request: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here, and the date and time. We also look at your IP address briefly when you send the contact form, to limit how many messages can come from one place in a short time. That helps us block spam.

Cookies and similar technology

This site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Our homepage saves one small setting in your browser's session storage so its opening animation plays only once per visit. That setting never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the browser tab. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy before we do.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and talk with you about your project.
• To prepare proposals and quotes you ask for.
• To keep reasonable records of our business conversations.
• To keep the site secure and working, including blocking spam and abuse and fixing problems.
• To meet our legal obligations.

Sending the contact form does not add you to a mailing list.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only:

• With service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our hosting provider, the email service that delivers contact form messages to our inbox, and our email provider. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
• When the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our clients, or the public.
• If Official Apps is merged with or acquired by another company, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information we hold.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records. If you become a client, project correspondence is kept as described in our agreement with you. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time, unless the law requires us to keep it.

How we protect it

Every page on this site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the information you send is limited to the people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information, and we will tell you as the law requires if a security incident affects it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@officialapps.com and we will respond promptly. Some state privacy laws give residents additional rights; where they apply to us, we will honor them.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and organizations. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, such as SAM.gov. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Our Terms of Use explain the rules for using the site itself.
