Custom software development, built around how you work
We design, build, test, and support it end to end, and we start by understanding the work before we write any code. Sometimes the right answer is a small custom tool alongside the software you already pay for. We'll tell you when that's the case.
Who it's for
- Businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and email for a core process.
- Teams paying for several tools that each do part of the job.
- Founders who need a real product, not a prototype that has to be thrown away.
- Government contractors who need workflow or reporting tools for contract delivery.
Typical projects
Internal operations systems
Intake, assignment, status tracking, and reporting for work that currently lives in inboxes and spreadsheets.
Customer and client portals
Secure places for customers to submit requests, see status, upload documents, and pay.
Dashboards and reporting
One view of operations, sales, or program performance, fed automatically by the systems you already use.
Products and platforms
SaaS products and marketplaces for founders, built on a foundation that can grow with real users.
How a project runs
- 1Discover. We learn how the work happens today and what a good result looks like.
- 2Plan. We scope the first phase, agree on priorities, and put it in writing.
- 3Design and build. You see working software early and often, so changes are cheap.
- 4Launch and support. We deploy carefully, train your team, and stay on to improve it.
What affects cost and timeline
- How many types of users there are and what each one can see and do.
- How many other systems it needs to connect to, and how clean their data is.
- Whether it replaces an existing system, which adds data migration.
- Security, compliance, or hosting requirements set by your clients or contracts.
- How much needs to ship in the first version versus later phases.
We give you a written scope and estimate before any work starts, and we break larger projects into phases so you can see results before committing to the next one.
Common questions
Should we build custom software or buy an existing product?
Buy when a product fits most of your process and the gaps are small. Build when the process is what sets you apart, when you're paying for several tools to approximate it, or when no product handles your data or rules. We often recommend a mix.
Who owns the code?
You do. Ownership of the code and data is set out in the written agreement before work starts, and we hand over access to the repositories and hosting accounts.
Can you work with our existing systems?
Usually, yes. Most projects connect to something that already exists, such as a CRM, accounting software, or a database. We review those systems early so there are no surprises later.
What happens after launch?
We offer ongoing support, monitoring, and improvements. You can also take the system in-house; we document it so another developer can pick it up.
